Asphalt Repair at Shopping Center on Northpoint Blvd

When it comes to pavement repairs, Phaltless can get the job done quickly, effectively, and within your budget.

This particular project involved some full depth repair, filling potholes, and base stone installation.

The full depth repair area was out in the middle of the parking lot. Therefore, there is a great deal of traffic that drives over it on a daily basis. We needed to make sure that there was a solid foundation underneath the surface of the new layer of asphalt so that there would not be any future cracking in the area.

To achieve this, we used six (6) inches of cement treated base stone as the foundation. The limits of the area was first laid out and then saw cut. The spoiled material was dug down to a depth of eight (8) inches and hauled off of the property. We then installed six (6) inches of cement treated base and rolled it to compaction. This was followed with two (2) inches of asphalt topping. All asphalt was machine laid and rolled to compaction.

The finished product is a nice symmetrical patch that is smooth and will give years of service.

Below are some photos walking you through the asphalt repair process.
