The fine people at Rechoboth Baptist Church needed some help with the back driveway that leads up to the rear parking lot. Due to sub-base issues, the road was failing badly and required Full Depth Reclamation to properly repair the road. After negotiating a price that the church was happy with, Phaltless scheduled the work to start as soon as possible. One of our regular commercial customers called us to look at a residential driveway that was needing some attention. The driveway was a long one, approximately 1,200' long that started out as a long straight away and then went up a hill to a concrete pad that led to the house and garage. The driveway had a good gravel base that required some prep work with a motor grader and a smooth drum vibratory roller. The management team at Chattanooga State Technical Community College had another plan for a road project  that they wanted to complete before the holidays. The job entailed utility location, milling up an existing asphalt roadway, removing topsoil, grading, soil cement, and asphalt paving. There were very stiff time constraints as to when the job could be completed because the section of road involved is a very heavily traveled one way drive behind the school. When a storm caused a tree to fall across this driveway, the customer decided to repair the driveway by placing a new layer of asphalt. The tree caused an indention in the asphalt driveway. The remedy for this was to place a new layer of asphalt. Phaltless came in and went to work. First, the transitions into the garage, at the sidewalks, and next to the catch basins were milled with a milling machine to ensure smoothness between the new layer of asphalt and the existing concrete after completion. The contractor building the new Dollar General Store in East Ride, TN new what they were doing when they hired Phaltless, Inc. to pave the driveway leading to the parking lot. They new that they would get timely service and an excellent job from Phaltless. The parking lot was paved with ready mix concrete; but the driveway from Mack Smith Road to the parking lot was paved with asphalt. That is where Phaltless came in.
