One of the more effective ways to repair asphalt that is failing is to use a milling machine that grinds up the old asphalt and then patching the area with new asphalt after the millings have been removed. The fine people at Rechoboth Baptist Church needed some help with the back driveway that leads up to the rear parking lot. Due to sub-base issues, the road was failing badly and required Full Depth Reclamation to properly repair the road. After negotiating a price that the church was happy with, Phaltless scheduled the work to start as soon as possible. The job began with demoing the extruded concrete curbing that was on each side of the road. Due to the amount of heavy traffic over the years, the asphalt drives at Invista in Chattanooga, TN had taken a lot of abuse. The roads were failing in places and needing to be replaced. One of our regular commercial customers called us to look at a residential driveway that was needing some attention. The driveway was a long one, approximately 1,200' long that started out as a long straight away and then went up a hill to a concrete pad that led to the house and garage. The driveway had a good gravel base that required some prep work with a motor grader and a smooth drum vibratory roller.
